Thumbs up used truck in cali-help?

I found this truck as I was rumbling through the pages of auto trader, and since it is 1100 miles from my house, I was curious to see if anyone was near this area or if someone had a trial issue of the free used car check, since I am not willing to pay for the 30 bucks.

It looks really nice, but of course I cant see much from the picture besides how shiny the paint is. It says it has 33k miles and they are asking 3900. It does say its one owner and 'believe or not it looks new' line is kinda confusing. Anyhow, if someone could maybe help me out on this I would truely appreiciate it.

Thanks much ya'll. Peace easy-

Call him and ask him questions, see if he can email you more pics, etc.
With 33k on it the truck had darn sure better look like new!

that is a nice truck is it 30k on the original engine?

not to be a party pooper....but a friend of mine once bought a 10 year old truck with about 30k original miles and thought it was a great buy but ended up dropping lots of money on fixing it because low miles on older vehicles are not always good.

Many parts do suffer more sometimes for lack of use from what I have heard. Just my .02 I am not mechanic though

But I guess lack of use is better than abuse.

Good point, lots of things corrode and dry out if it never gets used at all, then they fail when you start driving it again.

The ad sounds fishy to me. It says 30K miles on engine not 30K "original" miles.

Also, I believe the last year for the 22R carb'ed motor was back in '90.

maybe is one of those too good to be true deals, still do not want to deter you from really getting to the bottom of it. Just find out from owner, it could as well be a GEM keep us posted when you find out.

I go technical on his A$$ ask him super hard questions about the truck to see if he's really the true owner and not one of those dumba$$es who buy broken cars fix'em and resell'em
