UGH! Why are people such idiots?!

So I come out of the mall today and notice that my driver side mirror looks funny...great.... Well as I get closer I realize that its bent in towards the truck, (you know like how it folds in) I deem this to be rather odd and proceed to pull it out, well...turns out whatever good samartin was kind enough to push it in for me, was also kind enough to break my mirror in the process. Peachy...just freaking peachy...

Well no I have a broken mirror, I have been told to just buy the whole thing, but others have said to just get the glass. Anyone have any input? Anyone had to do it and know what I might be looking in terms of cost? Thanks folks.

This happened to me on my pathfinder once...

I just went to the local glass place and they traced and cut me a new one. $15, and a little glue later..it's as good as new!

I purchased one of those off of eBay, and it isn't worth it, they don't have them tensioned right and it wobbles a bit, and I can't get it to hold position. Picking one up at the junk yard, just my .02

Go to a windshield repair or window tint shop. Many of them now replace mirrors for $40 or so.
