Yes, he is a member here.
When his rig was in WA. state last summer, I got to see it at the shop, and I snagged a few pics of it.

The owner of Maxx Autoworks also had a truck at the metal fabbers shop getting a Toyota Supra turbo engne put into it.
One of those 7M GTE engines that are getting quite popular for a truck/4Runner swap.

Wow. Glad to see Brian's truck completed. He was having big problems with Maxx when I last saw his truck.

How much could one expect to spend on such a setup?

Do we want to know? I'd like to, but I have a feeling that it wouldn't be worth it.

Hes got it up to 721 HP!!!!!!!!!!!

That's just rediulous. I'm at a loss for words.

Does Toyota or TRD know what they are doing? I'm curious what they would have to say about it.

Talk about a kick in the pants. Geez. That one will most definitely through you back in your seat. Very cool though, although very expensive. They may want to talk to TRD about it. They may make some money! :fireman:

F2uning will do anything you want done. Currently they are specializing in correcting the major screw ups that Maxx Autoworks has done.

I haven't posted for a long, long time. I was just told there were a few fans of my rig over here.

Although my rig is fast beyond belief for a SUV, there is another 4Runner f2uning.com is building that will be EXTREMELY fast and reliable for a fraction of the cost.

What is unique about F2uning is their extremely good knowlege how to keep a 5VZ together under heavy boost without the headgasket blowing. The best part about it is they are not relatively expensive, yet they deliver the best 5VZ packages out there.

One more thing: If you are even considering head work on the 5VZ, I can guarenteee that no one else in the country has come even close to what they have to offer. Get in touch with Jason.

I'm just so happy someone finally is taking an interst in our 5VZ.

I doubt it. It seems that they are following thier old tactics of over billing, bleed the customer dry, and so on. Hell they probably have bill the poor guy for thousands of dollars of parts he has never seen. I'll bet that if he asks them where all the parts he paid for are they will just tell him they are in storage.

What I can't figure out is why they put so much stuff in storage. It just seems real odd and suspicious.

I wonder if the customer realizes that he is just getting ripped off and decides to pull out and cut his losses, if they will accuse him of "stealing" his very own car...

Does anyone know if Maxx ever got that red Supra to run right after the 4 or so times they had to redo thier complete performance rebuild? It seems that they just don't have much luck when they take a perfectly good running engine apart. They seem to never run as good as they did when they got there. Does anyone know why that is? After seeing what they did to my poor cylinder heads it is a real wonder how they are still in business.
