They look like FJ wheels. My understanding is they should work fine with the 231s no spacers needed.

Like all important decisions, you might get a 2nd opinion to confirm. Thats my $0.02

Hey guys I'm new to yotatech and looking for a big brake kit for my S Runner. It seems to me that it would be possible to use the tundra caliper because I have 16 inch rims. The problem is the 6 lug rotor instead of my 5 lug. Does anybody know of a rotor that would fit or if this is possible?

I put in rebuilt 199mm calipers a short time ago, but the four bolts holding the two halves of the calipers together are now rusting. They seem to be M10x1.25x90mm flange bolts, but I'd like to get OEM bolts, instead of replacements, if possible. Does anyone know the Toyota part number for these?

Going to do this on payday. Is there a set of wheel spacers y’all would recommend for the split-3 spoke rims? Or at least, any sets you’d recommend avoiding?

Wheel clearance

Can anyone confirm these 4th Gen Wheels will clear the 231mm calipers?
I understand they are 2003 to 2009 16 inch wheels.

It seemed like every few years the dreaded brake shudder would appear and I would have to turn or replace the rotors. I finally bit the bullet and did the Tundra upgrade on my 98 LTD. I went with Cardone reman 13WE (199mm) calipers to avoid interference issues, and new Bosch Quietcast rotors and Brembo pads. About ~$375 and maybe I will get some back on core return.

I found the backing plate was just barely rubbing on the rotors. Probably could have left it alone, but a few passes with a hand file took care of it. The old hard lines fit fine.
After seating in the brakes, they seem to be stopping as well or better than my old ones - plus no shudder.

The factory twin spoke (3V) wheels, and the factory steel spare fit without rubbing. Aside from the tiny bit of filing it was all bolt-on. A different brand rotor might interfere more.

Update:
The Brembo P83118N pads did not last even 20K miles, and produced more black dust than any other pad I've used.
