Tundra brake upgrade done with problems

Recently, I did the Tundra brake upgrade on my 98 4Runner. I used Centric Premium rotors from Rockauto and Napa Adaptive One pads. I got the calipers used off a 2002 Tundra and rebuilt them. I went with the S13WE (earlier caliper using smaller 4.7" pads) as I didn't want to deal with any wheel or caliper grinding issues. Anyway, everything bolted right up, I broke in the pads as recommended and the upgrade was a huge improvement. After only about 20-30 miles, I started getting the telltale warped rotor shimmy through the steering wheel. Pulled everything back apart and had the rotors turned very lightly. One of them had a significant high spot on the outside of the rotor. I don't know if it came this way originally, or was messed up by the pads. For the second time around, I went with Akebono Pro ACT pads. Everything is good now and I'm happy. I'm just sharing this in case others have problems after doing this upgrade.

I use some standard autozone rotors and their duralast gold ceramic pads. I don't have any issue yet for six months now. the upgrade is excellent.
