All other shifts are as crisp as I would expect from a stock valve body but the 1-2 shift is a killer. Feel like I'm driving my Dad's Cadillac! Is this a common problem with these transmissions? Does it under normal and WOT. Seems like the valve body could use some attention. I can't find any shift kit's for this trans. Any known fixes or good kits? Fluid is less than 6mo old along with filter. I know my way around a trans so please, don't spare the technical jargon/assistance. Thanks

 

Check the fluid level when Hot, these trans are sensitive to the fluid level. adding or removing a few ounces can make a differance. good luck

also check IPT for a valve body upgrade.
