Tubes on top of throttle body

Hey,
Does anyone know what the 2 tubes on top of throttle body (5vz) are and if they are supposed to have rubber covers on them?

Matthew

I have read that they are part of the evap system when in use and are capped off when not in use.

On my 99 5vz they're capped off. It depends on your year, and even the month of the year your truck is made, I just wanted to try and help. I don't know what year your truck is, but as I said, on my 99 they're capped. It shows that way on the vacuum diagram under the hood, too. Have you checked our vacuum diagram? Just a thought...

Good luck!
