The headers won't change the tone _that much_, maybe a bit louder because of more air moving, but the timbre will be the same.

That said, Corey (a forum owner) has a page up with audio snippets:

Keep in mind that differences in recording equipment, mic placement, ambient noise, location, etc. can make a difference in the sound.

And did you mention what you paid for the headers and cat-back?

Thanks
You can hear my truck, and watch me smash the cat-back tip on a trail here: http://www.tundrasolutions.com/photo...cat/500/page/1

That's without the headers. The headers add a little more rumble but not much. It's mostly the cat-back that does that.

No, I didn't mention how much it cost me.

It sounds like Darx doesn't wanna cough up the $$$ amount.

fwiw, My ceramic coated Downey headers were $380 and my cat-back (Allied Meanstreak) was $125. Install on the exhaust was $60 I think, and the header install was $400.

Let me put it this way. I saidf the install for the headers cost as much as the headers. They're TRD headers I bought from the DEALER for 15% off.
