Tranny question

Not sure what's goin on here but maybe ya'll can help.
When I stand on the gas, I'm gettin a suckin/whistlin sound from under the truck. Sure sounds like a vacuum leak. I've also noticed it doesn't dowshift just right when it's cold. Happens most in the afternoon leavin work. I have to give it just a bit more throttle to get it to shift.
Any ideas what vacuum lines I might check out first?
Truck drives and shifts just fine every other time.
Sposed to be drivin to Nebraska next week and would hate to get stuck somewhere between here and there.
Just recently changed steering rack bushings, maybe I knicked a vac line??
Put new tranny cooler in this past spring so no strawberry milkshake.

98 SR5 3.4l 232,000 miles

Thanks

When is the last time you have dropped the pan and changed the filter, or at least drained the tranny pan and put in some fresh fluid?
