totally easy wheel size question...

(...for anyone who's not me)
What is the stock wheel size on early (95.5 to 97) tacomas? Is it 15x7? From where does one measure wheel diameter. With a tape measure my rims come in at about 16 1/4" across. Lastly, what is the stock back spacing, and does one change it (decrease it, I'd imagine) so that wider tires can be run with out rubbing?

thank you for you support

i had the alloys on my taco and they had 15x7 cast in them, you measure wheel diameter from the flat part of the wheel right next to the bead seating area

I am unsure on this, but I think the stock backspacing is 4.25".

You could go to a 3.75" backspacing I would imagine...

I have a section on how to measure wheel dimensions on my wheel/tire page.
