my brother in law had a similar (if not the same) app for his droid, it didnt work on my 4runner because it doesnt have a MAP sensor only MAF.

This is the type of feedback I am looking for. I can't find a Bluetooth obd2 adapter locally so I wanted to makes sure it would work before I ordered one and bought the app.
So it wouldn't read anything just because we have a maf instead of a map? Lame.

certain things would still work, but not everything. sorry i dont have a more specific answer about what did and didnt work. I just know that without the MAP, several features were rendered useless, my hp was calculated at 12 and thats with the supercharger.

I saw on custom tacos that it would read a maf now. Maybe there was an update?
@Ace it is a phone app that reads vehicle parameters via a Bluetooth obd2 adapter. It has like 7-8 customizable screens that displays what u want. So basically realtime engine data on your phone.

Nice, so it turns the phone into a kind of serial gauge. I like it. With a phone mount that could be cool, although with our trucks it is not really needed, not much on the OBDII that matters for daily driving and even during tuning only the timing/rpm plays a role.

Now in other cars that have tunable ECU's and all sorts of sensors on the OBDII that could be real cool.

Well it has a lot of options u can monitor. A/f, spark, altitude, accel, Ect, basically it can read out any measurement the ecu can see. I am still waiting on my Bluetooth adapter to come in. So I will check it out.
