TJM bumpers

I just got my TJM 17 in today and i noticed the sticker on the inside regarding the the airbags. I was wondering does the TJM accutally affect the airbags. I dont think it does, but maybe i am wrong. thanks

no one ever took a runner and put a TJM on it and slammed it into a wall to test it ... hence the sticker .. avoidance of liability

You are correct, the bottom line is since they did not ship a Runner to Australia for specific air bag testing, they cannot call it "Air Bar Compatible"

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the tjm 17?
I also read it is only like 25+ pounds heavier than stock...could you use the stock suspension or would it sag too much?

I put mine on w/Bilstein shocks, I didn't notice any sag. You do feel the front end is heavier while driving, but after a while you get used to it.

With a bull bar you don't need no stinking air bags. It's the other guy that better have the air bags.

I had a lot of sag with mine, but it was already lifted. I also got the T15 with the hoops. It shouldn't be tooooo bad if you get the t17 w/o the hoops.
