Tires!

Time for new tires.

Toyo Open COuntry A/T 265/75R16 on the 4Runner is going to the 97 Taco

Meaning I need new tires for the 4Runner. I want a 285 tire, I have 16x8 wheels, and no lift. What tire would work? What size?

the dueler hp is a street tire.. and also its a 70 series so it in turns ends up being smaller...

Actually, a 285/70r16 is .75 mm taller than a 265/75r16.
I am well aware it is a street tire.

he didnt specify what he wanted as to what size 285, but i assumed a 285/75/16 as his 265s were an AT... and a 285/75/16 measures about a 33" tall tire.... 32.8" mathematically

I want an AT tire. I want it as close OD to what I have now as possible. Is that even possible with no lift?

The only way to fit a 285/75 is with a lift.
You can fit a 275/70r16 w/o any trouble.

You're going to need a lift for 285's. 2.5" suspension lift or you could probably do a 2.5" bodylift. These would work if you're street only.
