Tire Size Question???
I am going to do the 1.5" ball joint spacer lift on my second gen 94' runner. I am running 31" tires right now, stock. So with a 1.5" lift, how big of tires can i fit? Can I fit 32"s? Anyone who has done this let me know, cause I am gonna need new tires soon. Thanks for helpin out...

Usually you can fit 32s w/ no lift an a little trimming, so w/ ball joint spacers and some rear lift, should fit no problem, unless you run a very wide or offset wheel.
For 33s, most folks add a 1" body lift with the spacers.

I was told that you can't put a body lift on a second gen with an automatic transmission, which is what I have. Is this true?

Not entirely true
Its sort of true. I have a Performance Accessories 3" body lift and the shop had to get a combination of two kits because of the auto transmission. It was alot of work but it can be done. I would have done it myself but I didn't feel like messing with two different kits. Maybe other people haven't had this problem, but then again it might have been because I have one of the last SR5 Limiteds to roll off the assembly line in 95. Let me know know it goes tho

I've been running BFG M/T 32x11.50x15's first w/o any adjustment to stock sus. and just a little rubbing on rear of front fenderwells when in the sand(very bumpy). Mostly on the plastic. Yesterday, I raised front end 1.5" via torsion bars and went out..........no rubbing so far. The rear is next for me.
Good luck!!
