Where's the best place to buy these? 4 Wheel Parts is located somewhat near here, so I could pick up some rims there instead of shipping them out.

Where else do they sell them cheap?

Also, if I will be running 265/75/16 BFG's on my 4runner w/ the OME setup, should I run a rim with a 3.75" backspacing or a 4.25" backspacing? I would like to give the truck a wider stance, so would 3.75 be better? I am planning on getting an 8" rim as well.

I have 285's with the 4.25" bs. Personally, I think 3.75 would stick out wayyy too much. As it is I can get my tires to rub the rear inner well. But thats 285's also. I say stick to a 4.25" so if you ever want to run 285's you can.

As much as I'd love to sell you mine, I just can't afford to buy new rims. College and moving suck! :pat:

Hey, you dont have to sell them to me, you can just give them to me...!!

Thanks for the info with the backspacing...That helps.

I noticed that the other wheels that I am looking at, the Black steelies from "Wheelers Off-Road", are set at 3.75"... They say that you can use a smaller tire as well as a larger tire w/o any problems.

Does anyone have pictures of rigs with 3.75" backspaced tires?

I saw those rims today on a Tacoma...

At least I was 95% sure that they were them. I never had seen them in person before, and I can tell you that they didn't look all that great. I think hte Tech 1's look waaayy better. The aluminum ones looked dull/boring.

What's with the chrome center caps that comes with ALL the black steelies? Why don't they color match the caps and lug nuts to go with the black rims and save us the trouble?

That would be wayyy toooo easy! Black lugs are almost impossible to come by locally, and I don't like caps.

You are right. The chrome caps look cheap and are just something else to clean. No time for that when you spend most of your time in the dirt.

I am looking at purchasing some 15" steelies for my '03 prerunner 2wd.

I am wondering what would be the maximum width and back spacing I can get away with. I would like to run 31x11.50x15's if possible.

Hey, thanks for the link. Caps and nuts look nice, but the wheels are not the style I am looking for.

Late.
