tail lights

does anybody know how difficult it is to buy circular tail lights for a 200 4runner limited and how much would they be and how difficult to install

haha, big time noob question here, but i'll help ya out...it not hard at all. just have to take out 2 screws on each taillight and the whole process takes less than 10 minutes...and they shouldn't be more than $200...check out burtmanindustries.com, as he's got all kinds of taillights and i ordered all of my clears from him and have had zero problems with them...

lol thanx i know i am a huge noob and this is a even bigger newb question but how do i put my 4runner into 4 wheel drive mode with the little stick

do i have to be in neutral l to engage it or park and what are the different types because there are a few choices

well, on the 3rd gens, i know you can shift into 4 hi while moving, not all that fast of course! and for shifting into 4 lo, you need to come to a stop, put the trans in neutral, and then shift into 4 lo

thanx for the help, if i were to buy something like this http://www.burtmanindustries.com/zoo...frstd_tls_96up. whoud i need to buy new tail lights or no, the cover is the only thing that chnges and the lights stay the same

well, that link didn't work, but by looking at it, the ones you're refering to are the frosted clear ones, like i got. in this case, you have to get actual red tail/brake light bulbs and actual orange turn signal bulbs. or just do like i did, and swap every single bulb, except for headlights of course, over to LEDs...

thats the link hopefully it works and so how much do light bulbs cost or ledsare they hard to install

nvm that link doesnt work but yea the frosted lights are the ones im talking about

it is pretty easy to install, im sure you have a friend or a family member that could help you. back when i had my mazda my dad pretty much did all the stuff for me.


but since this thread is about taillights do the 96-00 tails fit on a 01? i

btw what does the gear changing thing do thats next to the gear shifter. Ive never used it but i dont get what it can like shift into or anything. It looks kinda like a stick shift clutch

Yeah I love my LED tails, got them on yesterday and they are so damn bright!
