Tacoma owner, been lurking for a month or so, finally registered. Given the similarities between the Tacomas and 4Runners, I think they need to stay together. Now I got to get a digital picture of the truck...when it's clean. Water restrictions here in NC, run the truck up to the do-it-yourself car wash once a month now!

clay - nice looking taco, i like how you painted the outside of the grill to match, looks good. that pic looks pretty tight, don't get any scratches on that clean truck!

sizzzletits - im also getting a spacer and an AAL soon from cornfred. where are you buying from?

Rowan - thank you very much for the compliment on my truck, but I can't take credit for the paint job. Toyota paints the front end that way when the color-keyed option is ordered with the truck. It includes the bumpers, fender flares, door handles, etc. I've only scratched it a bit, but that's the way it goes I guess. Thanks again for the compliment.

so we have 11 taco owners? not too bad. maybe we could try out a taco section, but also keep the 4runners, trucks, and SUVs open to us.

sorry i forgot all about his board and never replied, heh, to much stuff on the internet. i ended up not getting spacers, but i got OME 882's from ultimateoff-road.com they were 150 shipped. had a friend of mine put them on using his wall mounted spring compressor for 20 bucks. went to 4wheel parts to get an AAL and they gave me some sky jacker crap which ended up making the rear WAY to high, so im going back today to exchange it and get a pro comp AAL. the new coils made it lift nicely, the ride is definatly different then stock, lot more bouncy i dont know if it will change when i get the right AAL for the rear since it is stock now in the back.

Cool 91 sr5 taco owner

I have a problem in head winds traveling. I have a magnaflow cat back and a K&N air filter. Those seem to have helped, but I was wondering if a high flow cat. converter would help much. I have the V6 3.0 and I want more power. I was also wondering if anyone has heard if Toyota makes computer chips or programmers for us yet?

IMO chips are a waste of money unless you have some kind of power adder, I.E. supercharger, nitrous etc.
