Tacoma Flairside....

I never knew they made a Taco Flairside.... It looked odd to say the least. I don't fancy the Tundra Flairside either.

Tacoma flairside is the ugliest design idea toyota ever had followed closely by the Tundra flairside.

Talking

Not sure what you guys are talking about. But I saw a 05 Taco today and let me tell you, that things looks like it fell form an ugly tree and hit every branch. What were they thinking!! O well just makes my 90 4Runner look all that much better!

I don't care for them either, not least because of the fact that the flaresides make an already dinky bed even tinier. But to each his own I suppose.

they have the right idea, but i don't like the super smooth design. i've always wanted to find a stepside bed for my truck though, i know they did exist at one time as an aftermarket item

I can remember when there was a reason for stepsides - the need to step up on the side to load / unload stuff (like haybales). Then they became more or less a pure fashion thing... Stepsides _look_ fairly cool, but they're really not that practical. Nothing's as ucking fugly as one of those bizarro canopies made to fit stepsides...

I did not know they made them either until I saw a 2003 in a dealer lot. I test drove it and it seemed real wierd when looking out the side view mirror. The stepside is a stand alone option for the truck.
