shocks and other stuff

Howdy folks. Wanted to get some new shocks for my '92 v6 yota. Just wondering what kind of shocks I should get? How are adjustable rate shocks? Brand?

I also am looking for a good seat cover, one that will fit snug on the bench seat. I've had to return 2 from local auto parts stores. Is there a good, tight fitting bench seat cover available? Could someone PLEASE drop a link or a brand name please? Thanks in advance.

Ditto on the tons of shocks. Besides all the variables mentioned above, you need to decide what kind of ride YOU'RE looking for: Stiff? Comfy?

Thanks fellas. Checked out the wet okle page the other day. Nice quality stuff. Looks good, but I wonder about the feel of it? Does your butt get sweaty in the summer? LOL.

On the shocks, well, I mainly use the rig as a daily driver. I have other trucks I can wheel with and I have a full size for hauling/dump runs. I guess I want something fairly on the stiff side for better road handling.

This gets me back to the adjustable rate shocks though. Can I have the best of both worlds? Are they worth the dough? Or should I just buy another set of Rancho 5Ks?

Thanks again. Hope to hear some more opinions.

Get some gas charged shocks. That is the most important feture. You can get gas shocks down to about $25 each. Personally I am a big fan of Skyjackers which run $50 each.

Shocks, depends on how much you wish to spend. Skyjackers run about $37, Bilstiens are popular( $60 to $65 ), and OME's ( $70 to $75 ). I have Ranchos now but will soon be switching to either skyjackers or OME if I can get the money up.
