Tacoma & 4runner front struts-interchangable?
Anyone know the difference between the tacoma (1999) and 4runner (1997) front struts? I wanted to put my wrecked 4runner stuts on my Tacoma (2" front lift causing uneven wear on my tires).

Oh yeah. Same thing.
The 3 holes on the top have a different alignment with the bottom mount. But thats it. Easiest thing to do is put the top 3 in, and rotate the bottom shock eye by sticking a big screwdriver or long metal bar in it and turning.
