Suspension lift question

I purchased a lift from toytec. It's the 3'' lift/leveling kit for my 2001 tacoma. I currently have 31'' tires. Once I get the lift on and move up to 33'' tires how much taller will my truck sit? Exactly 3'' taller? Or more because of the bigger tires? Any help appreciated!

Toytec expects you'll get 3" from the lift, not the tires....

No matter how high you lift or not lift, putting taller tires on will raise the truck at the hubs.

If you have 31" tires and move up to 33" tires you'll be 1" higher...
EXCEPT
31" tires are not always 31" and the same goes for 33" so results will vary.

Not a great question. Tires brands are not all exactly the same size even when it says so, so exact size will depend on make and model air pressure ect, now to answer your Q, if you have 31" tall tires and go to 33" you gain 1" of height/clearance in a perfect world from the centre of the hub,...now the lift kit height would depend on the factory springs/original height, so some gain 1" suspension lift and some get 2.5" up front, the rear should get the full 3" plus your 1" tire height. So technically you only gain 1" of clearance of the lowest part of the vehicle.

Someone beat me to it but the math is off*
