Ahhh... So that's like the WRX? i.e., it's a quick 90* bend? How's it look on the rig? You thinkin' of putting it at the back of the hood like on the WRX?

I'm not sure if it's the same as the WRX, not up on Subaru's these days. I'm not sure if it would look best towards the back or centered, but I'd like to get it on down the road. Preferably I'd bust out some fiberglass so there were no lines, but it would be a while before I could afford to pay a body shop to paint it right. Just thought I'd throw it out there because I like how it's not "too much" and doesn't look like the typical 3M taped versions all the high school kids seem to like.

That looks awesome, Mark! And DudeBud DID do a great job on that... I've thrown around the idea of doing something similar to my hood. Of course, your engine is actually supercharged...I'd just be a "poser".

Anyway, very, very cool!

eeek! people responded in here. I never got the notifications.

Thanks all!

btw... it works really well. It's still cold here in WA but my underhood temps are way down. I can stop after an hour of driving in traffic and feel the heat pour out of the scoop.

I'm pretty dern happy.

Dan had the idea for the black and I glommed on to it citing that the scoop looked "too big" sitting on the red hood. With the black all around it, the contrast is less and it doesn't look as big.
