Thats where i drilled mine and it worked great. Now i have them on my new bumper.

yeah, i plan to mount two of them onto the front bumper, just like many people on here have done, since i don't want to spend the money for a light bar or anything like that.

yeah, EXACTLY how you've got your's mounted. i figure just measure it out to or three times before i drill the holes and i'll mount 'em up like that. and nice pic ya posted...
