Stock 99 2.7L Xtr Cab Build

I have a stock 99 Tacoma 4x4 and after ten years and 140k miles have decided to upgrade. I am replacing my stock suspension with a Northwest Offroad 3in Suspension Lift ( Springs and Coil Over not blocks). Does anyone have any experience with Northwest Offroad? And with a 3in lift, what clearance for tires do I have? I admit I am a rookie and am looking for any advice since this is just my first step with a Tacoma that I am pretty attached to.

Have never heard one single positive word ever said about Northwest Offroad Specialties. Seems like most of thier crap is straight outa the 80's as well. I would look around.

Also their customer service tends to suck.

Hey Guys, I appreciate the info. I got a hold of the search function and found some good hits on the Toytec 3in lift with a rear spring replacement. I am going to do a little more research to make sure I have the right answer. I am also going to start a post in the build up section and put my progress in there. Again, thanks for the steer.

I used the 3'' toytec lift on my 4runner and I have been very satisfied with the performance.

I bought mine from Toytec too. I'm happy as hell with my lift and the ride quality. Check out sonoransteel.com also. Both are very good.

As far as clearance for tires, 33s w/ a 3" lift, but we need to know your rim size to tell you your options.

Allright guys, I made the plunge and bought the Toytect OME 3in lift with a full spring leaf replacement, 1in diff drop and steering bushings. I have started a build up thread under Bamfords 1999 Zombie Truck Build. I hope you take a look and any advice or suggestions are welcome. I will post pics ASAP.
