When my wheels are dead straight. My steering wheel is about 1-1/2- 2 in tilted to the right. Is there a way to get it back to straight. It dosnt steer bad but It bugs me while I am driving and it look wierd. I have about 1/4 in play in the wheel. I have searched and found nothing.

If your Taco doesn't have a steering air bag you could just remove the steering nut pull the steering wheel with a pully and put it on at the correct orientation.

The key is having the steering wheel pully.

I've pulled a steering wheel without a pulley, just loosen the bolt most of the way, and yank real hard, the bolt being on will keep it from smacking you in the face.

Also, mark it before you pull it.

I heard don't smack it with a hammer, it can damage something that has to do with absorbing impact during a crash.

If it's an airbag, another option may be to loosen the coupler in the steering shaft see this post:

There should be an adjustment in the drag link area if I am not mistaken. Could just be a cheby thing though.
