I just did my truck with that kit. Big improvement over factory.

I did mine a few months ago - it made a very noticable improvement. My 4Runner had around 120,000 miles and I could see the entire rack move sideways within the old bushings by a 1/4" or so.
I think the worn bushings were responsible for the accelerated wear to my high-mileage REVOs.

I had to do mine as well since I had excessive steering rack movement too.
They can be one SOB to get out so expect a good fight to change them......result will be worth it though!

Steering rack bushings cure?
Just curious if this will cure my problem?
My 03 seems to swerve alot. i have to fight it to stay straight even then it wants to go opposite directions of the way im steering, or sometimes it even steers further in the directions im going. Kinda weird.
Example* Lets say im driving down the freeway at 60MPH. And i have to hold the wheel a little right to go straight, and then all of the sudden it over corrects on its own and veers a different direction left or right.
I have done a Alignment but still no Worky. MMMMMMM?

So what do you suggest i do.
Also I did have the lift kit removed and am running stock except, I have the diff drop spacer still bolted up cause I couldnt find the factory bolts to put back in its place. You have a part number for those? or what do I tell my parts guys I need?
thanks for all your help. You guys are Quick!

nevin, first go get an alignment, with computer print out, make sure they adjust the caster, tell them that you think it is out.
as for tierod ends, someone else knows alot more about them than i do.
