SS 7.1 installed, night shots too!

well, after about a week of driving on my Sonoran Steel 7.1 lift i finally got some pics to show. monday i detailed her up all nice a pretty and then found out there was a giant snow and ice storm heading my way the next morning, so i had to hurry up and take pics at night. i can tell you she does not look this good now, it has 6-8" icicles hanging off of her and at least a quarter inch of ice on all panels, it's so sad. one funny note, i had to move while taking the pics cuz about 3 pics in they shut the lights off in the parking lot and i had to relocate to a less than optimal spot. sorry for the blurry pics, i have yet to find a digital camera that doesn't blur 1 out of 5 shots or less.
and lastly, BIG thanks to Steve at Sonoran Steel. what a great guy to deal with. all through the internet except for the actual credit card info but he was great to talk to and i got to hear some stories while i relayed the info. not just a quick get the money and go, a 15 minute chit chat and story exchange; a real nice way to do business, A+ in my book. ok, on to the pics!!!

that's all! getting my sport hood painted next week so pics will follow again but probably just on my showoff thread, we've all seen sport hoods so no need to start a new thread here

thanks ben,
i think it bounces around more in certain situations, but feels better than stock in other situations. i upgraded the front shocks and i'm running the extra spacer on the rear coils too for a little extra "umph". i love the way it looks and it hardly rides any different in my opinion. and it's just fun pulling up to a stock 4runner and looking down at them and smiling i park next to as many stock 4runners as i can just to show them what "could be", and the hight difference is pretty clear. glad the pics helped

Kudos man, you have a beautiful truck there.

I especially like the wheels, they really accent your truck great!!

Can I ask how much the lift was and how much lift you got out of it?

yeah i know exactly what your saying about parking next to all the stock 4runners. Cant wait to do the same with mine after i get mine installed. I think the rear spacers look awesome but im having enough trouble trying to convince my parents to let me lift my truck as it is so i'm sure another 1.5 inches in the rear wouldn't be a good thing to suggest right now. Do you think it made a big difference upgrading the shocks in the front though?? I want to have a pretty smooth ride... I just dont want to find myself swerving to miss pot holes in the road because my truck will bounce 3 feet in the air.

Sweet looking 4runner. It is very clean looking (not talking about dirt if that makes any sense). As others have suggested, yours looks like it should've sitting on the showroom floor.

the lift can be found on at www.sonoransteel.com i didn't measure before and after but as per the website the 7.1 is 2" in front and 2.5" in the rear, but then i added the 10mm rear spacers for a little extra.

perhaps, but now freshly unemployed i'll have to be a penny pincher for awhile until i land a new job and i'm going back to school too.

i don't know about a difference since all i'm comparing to is my 95K mi stock shocks; but i saw that these were an "UPGRADE" and i had to splurge

i'll have some day shots up tonight, if the power stays on long enough!

thanks for the compliments too everyone, i'm catching up slowly to some of you guys!
