sr5 gauges?

i've been told that if i get sr5 gauges w/tach it will just plug into my non sr5 wo/tach pickup and it will all work is that true?

Can't say for sure on a 90, but it worked on my 88 4runner.

There was a thread not too long ago where to connect the wire to but I was unable to find it.

Should be in the next six pages or so.

I dont think so. The pin connection is different on the automatic. I had one for an auto and it wouldnt work on my 5 speed. This was for my 87. It may be different for a 90 model

Redline is 5500 RPMS.

Because I did not look at the date till after I posted.
