its defective. take it back to where you bought it and see if they will give you a refund. make sure you have your receipt with you.

Try this test. Have a buddy rock the vehicle while you crawl under the truck & try to locate that squeek. A mechanics metal stethoscope is helpful. If you have any skid plates, you may have to remove them. Also do this when the wheels are turned all the way to the right & then left. Hope this helps!

Same Problem

I'm having the same problem that all of you are having. I'll check out my shock bushings to see if that's what it is. I just read on the off-road.com toyota boards about someone having the same problem and someone said it "might" be control arm bushing, or something to do with the IFS. I have no idea if that's what it is, or how to fix it though

*EDIT* Here's the link to what I was talking about....

Talking Possibly Solution :)

I Think I figured out what it is, yesterday I was trying to figure out what was causing it, so I started bouncing around on my truck trying to make it squeak.... nothing. Then I started pushing on my bumper and it started squeaking, so I kept moving around where I was pushing and I found it. My front driverside headlight/turn signal housing thing moves around, and it squeaks when it moves. I tried everything I could to tighten it, but couldn't get it tightened. So I sprayed some WD-40 around it until when I pushed on it (between the plastic and the bumper, and around the turn signal thing), it didn't squeak. And I tested it going down my road (it's a down hill road with a lot of little bumps) and... No more squeaks So now I just need to figure out how to tighten it Any ideas?
Hopefully this helps some people, because it fixed mine.

Turboale: Hmmmm I didn't think about that, I'll have to check those out on my truck. What did you do to fix it? Did you replace the rubber thing? Also if you replaced it, did you get it at the dealership, or where? Just curious in case my squeak comes back

I just thought i'd post an update on my squeaky situation.

After reading a few posts on here regarding lubrication (LOL Not THAT kind of lubrication ) I had originally tried spraying WD-40 to stop the squeak, but it kept coming back after a few days, and then I read about someone suggesting White Lithium Grease (Forgot what it was for though ) So I decided to give it a shot. So I gave my bushings and control arms, and those plastic/rubber hood stoppers, a good spray with the grease, and NO MORE SQUEAKS!!! It's been almost a week since I did that and it hasn't come back. Although the underside of my truck looks like I went through a big puddle of milk (the White Lithium Grease is surprisingly enough... White ) Maybe I should of looked to see if they had a Black Lithium Grease? But either way i'm hoping that the white will go away soon or get enough dust on it so it's not visible, but either way I'm glad, because the squeaking is gone.

So it's worth a shot using it. I pretty much just sprayed it on everything that I thought it could be coming from, and it worked

squeaky gas tank

I had a squeak when going over small bumps. The noise was coming from a piece of rubber between the frame and the gas tank skid plate. Just hit the top of the back tire and if you here a squeak this is probably where it is coming from.
