squeaking over bumps
my trucks always done this... when going over a speed bump or down my bumpy neighborhood road it'll make a squeaking sound somewhere from the front end. (depending on the temp sometimes it doesn't do it near as bad) if it's not the shocks, what could be greased to maybe help? I've noticed two rubber boots right on the inside of both front wheels, is there a way to put grease in them? I've heard of zerk fittings but never seen one.
sorry for the stupid post, just need to be enlightened

I am NOT an expert by any means, but if it fluctuates with temp I'd say it might be a bushing, or maybe even a shock. Try to isolate it by jumping on your bumper or something.
My mom's Jimmy squeaked really bad, and it was just a shock.
I'm pretty sure those rubber boots are you CV boots, they are already packed with grease and should not squeak

My rear end has starting doing this also.
After I drop off an exposed tree root, curb, whatever, the backend will make a noticeable squeek. The shocks are brand new, there is no rear sway bar, are there other bushings I don't know about?
I can't reproduce the noise by jumping on the bumper either.

thanks for the replies, the more I think about it.. it must be one or both of the front shocks cause they're really stiff and for them even to move much it has to be on a big bump.
I'd still like to find out all the places that are supposed to be greased though, I've done a search on here and can't come up with much or any pics.
you know that'd be a nice write-up for the tech section =)
