Speedy boot 93-4runner

Has anyone seen a speedy boot/seperated boot for front axles on the 4runner. I kinda dread taking the whole side apart to replace the boot.

Thanks,

Drew

I to have a torn boot currently sealed with duck tape. I know that the right way is to take apart the whole axle but those split boots are tempting. I put a Quick Boot on a Tercel I used to drive and it held together over 2 years till I sold the car. I put a Speedy Boot on my Subaru and it leaked on the first time over 45 MPH. The difference between the two was a glue together (Tercel) vs screws (Subaru). I can't reccomend either but if you must, get one that glues together. I think Napa has them.

I think its a universal application for most vehicles other than full size Chevys but maybe measure the one on the other side to see what legnth you need and shaft diameter. Is it inner or outer, and right or left? Good luck!

If its a A.D.D, then you dont really have to take the whole side apart. Should take less than an hour to replace the shaft.

Automatic differential disconnect. It uses vaccum lines to disconnect the left CV axle from the front differential. I don't really know how it works but I know that lots of people who have it change it out for manual hubs.
