Exclamation speedometer misreading and milage

i have a 97 4runner and i hit 110 mph on the highway all the time and im only going like 80 or 85, its off by 10 mph at 60, and at 90 im only going 75. this is messing up my milage and i need to fix it. the fuel cuts out at 107, does anyone know what the problem is with it? and when i go to shift it in to 4 wheel drive it grinds unless i stop the vehicle. i dont know if this is related somehow? plz i need the help thanks.

What size tires? Im guessing your gearing is off. There are a couple links in my sig that may help, and you can search for ways to correct your speedo. There are a couple write ups.

How are you so sure its off? Verified by GPS or what?

It sounds like your running non stock sized tires.. Is this true..?

Here is my write up on installing a speedometer calibrator. You would have found it had you have searched.
