Question spare wheel winch...

Someone thread in here about their spare on the rear of their 2nd Gen Runner got me thinking. I have a 95 with the spare on the under side with that stinking hand winch. My question is:

Can we please get a powered winch for that thing?

I hate trying to get that bar in there to lower and raise the tire. Maybe this has been brough up before, but I hadn't seen it and it is a real pain to get to that spare.

I don't have that problem on my 95.

Might be because the tires isn't under there any more.

Uhhh...exactly how often do you need your spare? In the 10 years I've owned mine I can count on one hand the number of times I've lowered my spare.

I know. BUT wouldn't you have thought it to be handy to have it on a winch? Maybe you would like changing your tire then? Huh?

I dunno... I guess I'll give it a rest for now. When I install mine I will post pictures though and I bet everyone will want one. bwaaaahaaahaaahaa.... BWAAAHAAAHAAAHAAAA.....

^ what he said

When I got my truck the spare had never been lowered, ever. The rod was virgin, not a scratch on it where it touches the hole in the body while lowering the spare. Lowered that thing down, tossed it in the back yard, and unbolted the "winch". Anyone want it?
