Already did.. waiting for a reply

 

Someone tried to screw me once on purpose on eBay for some guitar equipment. I went straight to my credit card company bypassing all the eBay/paypal jackasses. That got the sellers attention when the money was removed from his paypal account, I imagine. I then got a nasty email from paypal saying I should have went through them first, whatever.

I say always go straight to the source you paid with to get it squared away since ebay and PayPal don't seem to get on it.

Not sure what she means... unless maybe my complaint with paypal put a hold on the money? I just cancelled the complaint temporarly to see if thats the problem

 

Oh that's an interesting email... Sounds like a sideways "ship the laptop to Europe" scam.

Did paypal refund your money and it's in-route to your account? Weird.

 

yea, it sounds kind of odd but I have a feeling its more a case of her not knowing what she's doing

Why are you still dealing with her? Get your money back and run.
Buy somewhere else, where they are legit, professional, and want your business. Give up on this one.

 

Theres nothing I can do right now. Paypal takes time.. The credit card company sent the fraud papers out but they haven't got here yet.. and in the meantime she emailed me saying she'd ship. But I'm just waiting for whatever happens first. Either S/C gets here or fraud papers get here

IT ALL ELSE FAIL YOU CAN FILE A CHARGE BACK FOR INTERNET FRAUD WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD CO.... i PAY FOR EVER THING WITH A CREDIT CARD ON EBAY. IF SOMEONE SCREW ME OR I DON'T GET WHAT I PAY FOR I CALL MY CREDIT CARD CO. UP AND THEY REVERSE THE CHARGE AND THEY GO AFTER PAYPAL AND PAYPAL GOES AFTER THE SELLER... YOU'RE SAFE!!

How did you file the chargeback? When I called I let them know of possible fraud and they just said they will send the paperwork out to me

Yea, I've got a ˟˟˟˟load of stuff sitting behind me waiting to go in the truck. S/C, URD, gauges, gauge pod, sway bars, etc etc can't wait to get it all in
