slight electrical problem

i got some new led blinker bulbs ... and deiced to clean up my wiring a little and i accidentally touch the hot and ground together and blew the fuse ... so after i got the bulbs and load resistors installed ..... i replaced the fuse and now the hazard lights don't work and when i press the on the brake pedal the buzzer goes off

Did you check all the fuses??

It sounds like a short somewhere for the brake/buzzer, but the hazards sounds like a fuse!!

Worst case senario...Body control module, but if that went out, a bunch of other stuff wouldnt work either!!!

Im sure you did check all the fuses...then its time to get the good old DVOM out and do some testing. When you say you accidentally touched the hot and ground, do you mean the battery?? if so was it hooked up?

Look at the grounds first...do you have a haynes manual or something to look at?? I am willing to bet that those things all share the same ground.

yeah, but do all those things go through the same relay? The reason I am saying that is the buzzer/pedal situation. It just doesnt sound like a relay problem...but I can tell you how to check a relay, if you want??

K elton, On my 99 taco FSM, this might not be exact but on the inside fuse panel, right under the fuses there should be a couple relays, one is a "Flasher relay" I would replace that fuse as my next move

Oh, did you take out and look at all the fuses or did you just glance at them when they are plugged in? Cause sometimes they blow, and you cant see it!
