Show me some wheels!

I have some 275/65/16 michelin ms tires sitting idle in my shop.

My wife and I are expecting our first child, and my truck is the "family truckster." So, I need to keep my truck at factory height, for now.... for the kids and for my wife (shes 5'3 ) ..and can barely get in my truck right now!

so...

Id like to get some new wheels, as mine only look good when you stand at least 10 feet away. Im thinking id like to go to some black steel wheels.
Can someone show me some different options?

1) can or should I go to a 16x8 width or stay at a 16x7 for the 275's?
2)please photoshop some wheels on there!

thanks

Yikes. Probably should have saved that one for in person.

I run the Michelin LTX M/S's. They have a great tread life, good road manners and are pretty durable. They won't take you anywhere through mud though.

Save your dough for the kids college fund and just paint 'em. A couple of threads:

Ouch!

Anyway, 4Legz, my wife is only 5'2 and she does fine with the very mild lift I have in my signature. Also not sure what you looking for in wheels. aftermarket? OEM? etc. I went with all stock and just change depending on if I am running snow tires (Michelin Latitude X-ice) or summer tires (Michelin LTX M/S). Powder coating an OEM set of wheels (callmej75 does awesome work and has great prices) would also be a great way give a unique look to a relatively stock 4runner.

im liking the idea of painting my stock wheels. Only problem is the down time involved. I do like the idea of increasing my track width by going to 16x8 with less backspacing...

Check this out: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f126/painting-wheels-video-103816/

Instructions on how to do it, they look really good on your model truck!! Mine are different and it took a little longer to paint them, but i still get compliments!
