New pics.

Here are some pics of my truck gettin some sun.
You can see that she still needs some work in the front. I had a leak this morning but I fixed it with two clips. Other than that, she is running great. I've already put 100 miles on her! My rear is leaking a little too. I'm getting that replaced in about a month. This weekend I'll get some pics up of some off road action. Later!

?

I have a question too. In the process of putting my new engine in my AC condensor busted. I bought a new one and installed it. Has anyone ever re-charged their own AC? If so, how can I do it myself? What do I need and where is the best place to go?

The ranchos didn't fit in the front. I have them in the back.

Has it been converted to R134? IF it is still using freon you will either need to have someone recharge it for you or get it switched over. You can recharge R134 yourself.

BTW looks great!

I'll have to look that up. It's a 95. When did they convert all ACs?

Let's go wheeling this weekend and test out our new lifts!! That looks sooo good and I am impressed (and intimidated) by how much work you did!

You should be very proud of yourself, that is a hell of a lot of work to have done. I bet now that she's alive again you just want to pretty much live in there and drive it all day and night (that's kind of what happened after my lift).

What are the measurements now from floor to bottom of the fender?

Yup, I've already put 163 miles on it. I can't wait till I get new tires and my rear locked.

Anyway, e-mail me and we'll get together this weekend at 360.

hey man, if your truck hasn't been converted to R134, then you can buy a conversion kit at Advance Auto Parts for pretty cheap. It takes like 5 minutes total.

FWIW - My '95 4Runner 3.0 has 134a from the factory - I would guess yours is too. O'Rilleys has what you need to recharge the system.

When are you heading to 360? I live right ON 360 just north of 183 @ Harwood - might be able to catch up with you if you want...I probably can not hang with you in the nasty stuff as my ride is bone stock....for now

I plan on going out Saturday. I wont do any of the trails I haven't done when I was stock. I still need to baby my car a little through the break in period. If it doesn't rain before Sat we'll go out. I don't care to get muddy yet. Let me know. blake@designsbyme.net

Look here for the story.

After I put my new engine in we realized that someone had dropped a screw in my engine. We started it with the screw in my engine and we had to rebuild it after that.
