Yeah, a lot of people are surprised of what 2WD's are capable of. I've read about some PreRunners showing up some lifted 4x4 FJC's. Now that is embarrassing! The only downside is when you're in mud or snow. I frequently go up the canyon in the winter time, so 4x4 is a must.

Oh hell yeah, there is absolutely NO substitute for a true 4x4 system, especially in conditions like you drive in. It is very cool to see what a properly set up PreRunner is able to do with some mods. But wheeling with some friends with 4x4's is probably a good idea just in case. And no snow or mud for me!!
