Just think. You will never have to worry about scratching up your rigon the trail. Especially here in WA where we call scratches, NorthWest pin striping.
This FJ was completely Rhino lined in yellow.
The close up shows the rhino lining better.
Just think Corey, you will never have to clay, polish, or wax your rig again.
Great idea. Now whos first to do it on there rig. he he

Hey Corey,
I like the first one. I have yet to see a 2nd or 3rd gen 4Runner. That would look sweet.
Moomba and one other person has there 1st gen painted yellow. Looks damn kick ass.

Mike, that would be Tony's 1st gen.
I saw a yellow 1st gen while leaving Boeing to go home from work one day, but to see a yellow 2nd gen would be cool.
Maybe his was a 2nd gen, I forget
As you know, Jeff's wife's Taco has the front & rear bumpers Rhinolined, and the sliders as well.

I guess you basicaly wash them with a broom to get into the textures.
Be pretty easy to wash your rig that way with one of those power brushes that has water going through the nozzle of the brush.
Speakin' of washes, my rig is due for a bath tomorrow.
It still has all the dirt from our last run on it.

My nephew had his truck bed rhino lined.
We had to haul away some bowling ball size jagged stones and concrete blocks from my moms house with his truck. Needless to say we werent being very careful.
We washed out his bed real good. You couldn't tell that we dumped that crap on his bed. No mares or scratches. Very impressive.
Yes. My rig hasn't been washed since then either. Im going to Tahuya tomorrow so theres no since in washing today.

rhino liner, and line-x are tuff stuff. my friend that worked at Star Custom in houston, tx... a custom truck shop, installed linex. he said the govt was investing in Line-x. they did tests where they coated bricks with line-x then made a brick room out of it, and then coated the whole room and walls with line-x. put a bomb of some sort/explosives in it and set it off. the linex protected the structure pretty well... so now the govt is lookin into lining govt buildings with linex. cool huh! imagine our homes lined in line-x in a color of ur choice! expensive though!

A lot of the folks with dedicated trail rigs go that route. It makes sense.
I intend to have my rocker panels sprayed with Line-X this winter to help cut down on the chipping from gravel kicked up by my tires. I figure a band between six and eight inches will do nicely

They make some clear, stick on stuff that does the same thing, sort of a condom for your truck. But, the Line-X is more durable and permanent and since I am going with a black and red color scheme, it won't look out of place

Yeah that is gonna be the color scheme I am going to try to go with also. I thought about changing the color of my truck but figured that was going to be alot of money wasted on something that would probably get damaged off road. But using line-x for that is a really good idea... post some pics if you get it done I would like to see it.
