Question Sagging door gaskets on an 02

Help! I just noticed (obviously I never actually LOOK in the back seats) that the gaskets around the doors (all 4, really) are starting to sag. The black adhesive seems to have failed. The rear driver's side door gasket is really bad. Does anybody have any suggestions (products, processes, etc.) as to how I can re-adhere them? As always, any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Brady

Do you mean the weather strips on the doors? Mine got replaced a few months after bought it and it sags again now. I don't think if they can fix it or not. it sags more in the summer in hot weather.

Yeah, that's exactly what I mean. I realize that the adhesive is failing, but it seems like there must be some kind of other adhesive to use to replace it.

You think that will work? I'll give it a try (nothing ventured, I guess).

I'm pretty sure it would, or any other heavy duty adhesive.

I've found that OSI Construction Adhesive works far better than LN. It's polyurethane based, remains workable longer, and flows far better than LN.

Any kind of silicone based weatherstrip adhesive should work fine.
Make sure to clean both surfaces of the old adhesive first and secure with tape while drying.
