When I start my 86 pickup it really runs like a pig. Sputters, rough idle, and seems like an occasional miss. Once it reaches operating temp, it smoothes right out. Could this be a carb/choke prob or something else??

 

My 84 Camry also does not run as well cold as it does when it is warm. It doesn't run as bad as your description though.

I cleaned the throttle body and put a can of BG 44K through it and it is much better.
