Rocker panel protection?

Anyone have any good ideas to protect the lower half of the doors (aka rocker panels) from rock chips and other debris? I don't have fender flares, which may change soon unless I can find a cure for this problem. Ever since I bought Revos, the bottom half has just been getting chewed up. I thought about getting them rhino lined or putting some kind of truck bed liner on them, can't decide whether this would look stupid or not though or if it would even work. There is some clear paint protection products I could buy but again, haven't decided if this is the way to go either?!

Suggestions needed!! Thanks!!

Kyle

I have "mud guards" in that they're plastic and hang down right behind the wheel well. These help a little but not nearly enough. I have like the base Runner with the chrome trim panels....

Haha, not narcing on Herculiner the company...the way it looked on a rocker panel was far better than I imagined. I thought it might look cheap and I don't know not that good!haha

I used "Herculined" as my key word. That might be why. All of us are very happy with this mod so far!
