When I bought my '99 4runner in Ohio about 6 months ago the paint on the front of the vehicle was almost perfect. I have it in Colorado, where I live, and in the winter here they put sand on the roads for traction. So, half way through the winter now, I getting a lot of pitting on my bumper and the plastic parts under and between my headlights . I have a bugflector so the hood is fine (windshield is still pitting, but that can be replaced).

Do you guys have any idea if you can get/make some kind of clear bra for the bumper/front parts of the 4runner? I have the vinyl coated bumper (green).

Or, should I just move to SoCal ??
