I am planning to buy something from here, or atleast I would like to.

Does anyone have any experiences to tell me from or advice for buying rims online??

For what its worth, the site looks pretty darn official. They have every year listed!! I would do business with them. Pretty darn good deals too! I never noticed the T100 Wheels were used on the 99-02 4Runners... Could be good to know... What wheels are you gonna get? They seem to have really good prices too!

These wheels

However, If you notice at the top, it says OEM WHEELS:

OEM Alloy Wheel/Rim - Original equipment wheels that are remanufactured to look like brand new wheels.

What the hell is that suppose to mean??

And it seems to me as the wheels do not come with the center caps.

Now my question, is the price listed for one wheel or for all four wheels??

True, you have a definite point. However, I am kind of insecure about buying anything over the internet in any instance especially person to person. I am always doubtful.

How much did you say again you wanted for them, incuding shipping?

You said they're 15x7, right?

Approximately how many miles on them?

I'm still wondering if the price that is shown is for one or for four..................

Hmmmm, give me a few days and I'll let you know for sure, JIM.

I understand being concerned about buying over the web. I was too. I have only ever sold one other thing over the web and it was to another Yotatech member. I am sure he will vouch for my honesty. I will ask him to post here, to speak to my character.

I was asking $150.00 including shipping at that price I will probably only be getting $75 for all 4 wheels (no center caps, I don't have them). But, if you will use them, it's better that them sitting here.

They have about 30k on them, they came of of my brother in-laws truck.

I am not trying to pressure you, I just hate to see these sitting here and why fill the pockets of corporate greed when you can help me fund my next mod?

Let me know,

King, if he screws you over... well... we'll shout and yell at him.

I would take his offer if I needed the wheels, and it's not like $150 is going to put him in the country club . Do it, man... just do it.

I don't think I could handle being shouted and yelled at, and I spend way too much time here (just ask my wife) to be ex-communicated.

I'm not trying to run a business here, just help you out, pay for more mods and clean out my shed.

King,

It looks to me that the price is for 1 wheel. If you want to see what a great deal you'd be getting from Albu Jim, just go price the wheels new at the dealer. It will be an eye opener for you.

Thanks everyone for the advice.

It appears as I will be doing the deal with JIM, however, now that the temperature in my truck is moving alot, I'm starting to worry.

Anyone have any idea how much I could get some center caps for?

Perhaps used ones?

KING,

Jim requestsed that I post here and ease your worries. I bought Jims' running boards off of him a bit ago and you can be sure that whatever he promised, price etc... he will follow through. You can expect that your shipment will be packed carefully and consciously. I don't know what his schedule is like but Jim had my boards shipped and a tracking number to me in two days. He even went out of his way to remove the brackets and label them for installation. They arrived just as he quoted, with no shipping damage. Overall, my transaction with Jim was swift and professional. If I ever needed anything that he had for sale, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Jim,

Proud to be your first! Can I keep the hymen?

First thank you for the kind words.

Second, I never thought of myself as a virgin, but...I guess you are right.

King,
The man has 143 posts on this web site, if he were a piece of shiz-itt, everyone would have warned you. Go with the audience on this one. I don't know Jim and I just bought a set of wheels for $620 for a set of four. If I hadn't, I would grab these in a heart beat.
Also, while I'm handing out props, Gadget, Corey and Mike at Xtreme are some of the best people I have come across. You'll see, the people at this board are cool and are always willing to go the extra mile just to answer a stupid newbie question. I've had a few. Thanks again.

Go with these wheels!!

Later,
Doug
