881s, 882s and 883s all have the same spring rate they are just different heights. Therefore I would think the ride qualities would be similar. I'm going to order 882s, 890s and the OME comfort shocks all around on Monday from trdparts4u.com; Gerome was very helpful and I can't beat the price. I will post before and after pictures and measurements.

What else did you have to do to get away with that much lift?
nothing... a long rear spring to match... rides great too.

No diff drop? no panhard bracket? No CV joint or boot problems? And your running 4 inches of suspension lift? Do your wheels have any down travel left?

Why go with 881s and a spacer and not 882s alone?

Well, I called the Toytec guy and told him what I had, what my goals were with my rig and this is what he sold me. LOL, I followed blindly.

Have you had any problems with the CVs? My front only lifted about 2.5" and one of my CV boots is already slingin grease.

thats cause you have the 881's. i had those before these and hated them!! lol i tore cv's every trip. there is somethin about that spring that is not right. i am running more lift and way harder trails and 35's and have not broken one. lol doesn't make since does it. i think that spring just relaxes to much. i think you have to get limiting straps with them... and on which one shocks i'll go check now... i forgot. lol

Godzilla, did you od a measurement with your stock '99 coils before the OME lift? I'm still stock and I'm right at 36" at the front and 36.5" at the rear and I'd like more to see over 37" all around as I don't want to invest in a lift and see less than an inch.

what is the difference between the 906 and those of 890 and 891...from what I have learned 890s are medium and 891 are heavy duty...

Ground to fender lip but a better measurement is from the hub center to the fender lip since the tire size is thrown from the equation.

thanks all

I am installed at last and working on the photos to share

I gained 1" up front-from 36" to 37" ground to fender trim

I gained 3" in back-from 36" to 39" ground to fender trim

Could not be happier-crossing railroad tracks feels like road ripples now.
Eager to get it out and wheel it a bit.

Appreciate all the inputs. 891s are stiff in back but for me not overly so. It did give me rake with back end higher than front-which I wanted. Very glad I went with Old Man Emu shocks to complement the springs.

Yes I will get the photos up. Soon, right away.
