Nope. I did mine last year. Exact same model. You have to mount one of those buttons on the glass with the mirror glue. What you see in the pic is the cover over the wiring.

Mirror mounts to windshield via a "button" glued to the glass.

The black thing above the mirror is a cover for the wiring, not a mounting arm.

I didn't do a write up, but the mirrors come with really good directions. If I can scare them up, I'll post them.

That's expensive. I paid $160 for mine. Mine came in a Toyota box. I think it is an option on the Tundra?

So you got your mirror from the dealership? I will have to talk to my local hookup for Toyota parts!

Does it interfere with the visors?

You mounted it in your 3rd gen?
Do you have any more info on this part?
Thanks,
Frank

I bought it from someone that had a surplus of them from a Toy dealer. He's also a Mito dealer. I'll need to dig to find his info. It is on here somewhere (assuming we can still get to the really old stuff)

I have a 2nd Gen. It does NOT interfere with the visors, even though it is a good bit larger than the OEM unit.
