are you cranking torsion bars or coilovers ... I've got coil overs .. so probably 1 or 2 turns and it should be good. It needs to be brought up anyway b/c when I added the winch it came down some.

My top nut was pretty easy. I stuck a socket/ratchet on it and twisted the actual shock by hand. Same way going on!

Didn't undo the sway bar, and it was a biattch to install the springs-- even compressed.

BTW, Looks awesome!

The top not was pretty easy. I came up with a technique that works better then twisting the nut though. Hold the nut in place with a ratcheting wrench, and then twist the spring on the bottom. Saves your wrist, from trying to trun it in an awkward fashion. But all in all a pretty easy install.

The sway bar disconnect .. once I found it was easy.

Also another hint I can offer is to remove not only the lower bolt on the spring while its on the ground, but to take a hammer and actually tap the lower spring off its mount

Third thing .. those vise grips and strap wrenchs didn't work too well. I just ended up getting a C clamp and crushing the stock springs, and using that method to hold it in place.

Are you talking about the shock, or the spring? I assume the shock.

A suggestion would be to add a Revtek or custom 1/4" top out spacer instead of cranking the SAWs. It would help to keep things softer and give you added droop.

Just my $.02...

BTW, those wheels look good black.

The shock ... the spring was the easiest part ... just place it in its place and lift the axle back into place.

Jim- I'll get the spacers .. how hard is it to put in. Just pull out the SAWs and place it on top and stick it back in?

thanks for the compliments guys

I have the same OEM rims and I was thinking about powder coating them a gunmetal grey. Did you powder coat or spray paint your rims? How are they holding up?
