Question rear defog is working bad

hey everyone i got a 1990 4 runner and my rear defog is working really bad what can i do?

Mine works like crapola too. I have taken the back access panel off and cleaned the contacts. That helped a bit

A chronic problem. Keeping the inside of the glass clean will help reduce the workload on the defroster. Dirt absorbs moisture and will defog the window faster. Not much to do on the outside other than have a good ice scrapper.

i just figured it out. The wires for the defog were disconected so now it works. Finally.
