Rear Bumper Cover on a 2003
Has anyone seen a rubber type bumper cover that will protect the top area (next to the rear gate) of the rear bumper for a 2003? I find myself wanting to step on it if I have to reach into the rear of the truck(I'm short). I can see it getting pretty messed up as time goes by.

Thanks. Looks interesting. I took a look at your audio system. It looks like you spent some time with the adapters. I bet it sounds great however I need the rear end space with 2 kids. I may do something soon but not quite that big. Aftermarket speakers, head unit, and a sub with an amp. SOmething like that.

I saw something at work today that I think
was called the swing step, or maybee spin step. Anyways, it was a large plate (looked like the size of the top of a shoe box) and was atteched to the hitch receiver. It had a spin knob on it that you could spin around, so when not in use it was under the vehicle. Looked interesting but I only got a quick glimpse of it when I was loading some groceries into someones car. Peace.
P.S. impulsebrklyn, I tried sending you an e-mail, didn't want to ask about it in this thread. Let me know if you got it. Thanks.

Bug Shield ??
Impulsebrklyn
I took a look at the Lund bug shield that you installed. I was almost about to order one but I believe that I will wait now. See what else comes out first. Did you ever get in contact with Lund? If so what did they say? I can see the difficultly in coming up with something strong as a mounting method for that truck. Very limited access to the back side does not help either. Someone will come up with something. Oh by the way is there any mount in the middle or is it just the two on each end. Man that is a lot of pressure on just two mounting locations. Especially at interstate and above speeds.
My van had one and it had 4 mounting locations and I still had to find some adhesive rubber bumpers to put between the outside of the hood and the back side of the shield. When doing 70 + it would flex from the wind blast and rub the hood on the out side. Might want to check on that especially in the middle of the lund if it does not have a mount there.

HAHA, oh now we're into the short jokes. I brought it on myself. I did notice that the hgnlanders have a rubber covering on that area. maybe it will come out soon.
