Rear brake adjustment question

I was trying to take my right rear hub off to check the brake shoes and I turned the brake adjuster the wrong way causing the brakes to grasp the hub and I am unable to turn it back the other way because its meeting some resistance :pat: . Any ideas or thoughts on how to correct this issue.

A couple of thoughts;

You mean you were trying to take your "drum" off, right?
You shouldn't have to back the shoes off to remove the drum.
Odds are good you aren't strong enough to get it *really* stuck, so just go drive it a bit with the shoe dragging and it will quickly wear to the point where you can once again get the drum off.

there is a level thats on the adjuster that you need to push back with a screwdriver so you can turn the adjuster knob the other direction.

There is a LEVER inside the brake housing to prevent the brakes from backing off. If you push in on that lever with a piece of coat hanger wire or a small screwdriver, you should be able to back off the adjuster.
